What do you need to provide?
Please discuss any of the requirements with us, at most events we are able to adapt to your needs if possible.
- We work within all different size spaces to accommodate your event. A space of 12 x 5mis recommended (12m x 10m preferred) Please feel free discuss this with us.
- Birthday Parties we can operate in front yards, back yards or even nature strips.
- To protect our ponies’ hooves and joints we operate on surfaces such as grass, fake grass or another soft surface such as dirt. To protect the ponies’ hooves they are unableto on bitumen or concrete for extensive periods.
- The ponies need shade and access to water throughout each event. If you don’t have water we can access please let us know and we will bring our own. If no shade isavailable, having our car and horse trailer on site with in our space is a solution to this.
- To allow a space for ponies to be tied during their breaks a tree or fence line accessible if our float isn’t allowed on site.
- Due to the length of our vehicle and float, we are often unable to reverse into driveways, or drive into driveways if there is no space to turn around so please organise parking for us that we can get into and out of easily.
How may the weather affect the ponies operating?
- We understand that wet weather, extreme heat and various other factors can impact any event. We spend many hours training our ponies to ensure they are able to work in a variety of weather conditions.
- The ponies are able to operate in light showers. They also can wait out heavier rain if needed and start again.
- We ask that the ponies are provided with shade throughout your event, if the event becomes too hot for the ponies and no shade is provided it may cause us to stop wait for a drop-in temperature (this time will not be made up) or cease operating mid event.
- If lightning occurs during your event the ponies will cease operating and will be put in the float. We will wait 30 min from the last lightning strike to unload ponies and begin operating again.
- If you are concerned about the weather at your event, we will try our best to accommodate and find a solution. If you wish to cancel entirely then the cancellation policies will apply.
